dumm aloo is a tasty in delicious recipe this recipe is a winter recipe, because very people are liked this dumm aloo in winter so you follow to made this recipe ingredients and directions are :

Ingridients dumm aloo :

  • 10 to 12 baby potato Small
  • salt (as your taste)
  • water (For bolling
  • 3 big size spoon oil
  • 1½ tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 large onion (chooped)
  • 2 Medium Tomato
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon red chilli
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • ½ kasuri methi
  • ⅓ cup Yogurt ( Dhai)
  • 1 fresh cream
  • 1 spoon coriander leaves
  • 1 sapon sugar

Directions

  • First is take the potatoes for boiling in throughly or pressure cooker.
  • for boiling potatoes in water add the salt (small pinch) .
  • before boiling the potatoes you separate the potatoes into boil water and wait for 8 -10 minutes to chill the hot potatoes.
  • while potatoes are cool down than pill of the skin .
  • make a few pics on the potatoes with the folk ,this process gravy to seep into the potatoes.
  • Then take a pan heat little oil .the boiled potatoes are lightly fry to golden and crispy on the outside.
  • Heat oil in kadhai .
  • Add one bay leave to flavourful tadka.
  • Then add the finally chopped onions to the kadhai them until they turn golden brown.
  • Next add the ginger garlic paste to saute for another 2 minutes.
  • Before you add the tomato Puree to the kadhai and cook the oil begins to the separate from the masala .
  • Then add the dry masala example :turmeric powder ,red chilli powder ,coriander powder and salt (as your taste )well cook for another 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Then slowly add the yogurt to the kadhai stir it in gently to avoid curdling.
  • Then you made rich and creamy texture gravy you added the fresh cream at this stage .
  • Before the almost gravy is ready to add the baby potatoes and gently mix with gravy .
  • Add water for consistency the gravy and Simmer the dish on low heat for about 15 to 20 minutes the longer you cook the more flavourful it gets as the potatoes the spices .
  • The last step is add the sugar (optional) to balance the acidity of the tomatoes and enhance the flavour .
  • Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and fresh cream .
