STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS chole bhature:

  • Prepare the chickpeas– First you prepare the chickpeas you take a bowl and soak them in water overnight or for atleast 8 hours. This way easy to make the cholee and soft easily to cook. Next day you drain the water and add the chickpeas to a pressure cooker with fresh water.
  • Next day you add in cooker bay leaf, salt, chickpeas, water as your chickpeas amount need to increase the taste. Cook them for in 4-5 whistles proper cook.
  • You check the before 4-5 whistles with the help of thumb and finger, then proper cook the channe soft you prepare the masala.
  • Prepare the channa masala– First you take the onion, tomato, ginger, garlic and green chilli, you all the masala grind in mixy or chopper you make the masala in puree consistency.
  • Take the pan and on gas add the oil heated to cook properly first you add the ginger and garlic paste in oil and wait the change colour turn into brown goldish.
  • Then you add the grind onion this is also you cook it and add the salt, turmeric powder both ingredients you saute the ingredients.
  • Now add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, chole masala, and salt. Mix everything well and cook the spices for 1–2 minutes. After that, add the boiled chickpeas along with a little of the cooking water.
  • Then you mix it countinously with big spoon and boiled it.
  • You garnishing with coriander leaves for increase the taste.

How to make bhaturee chole bhature-

  • To make the dough first of all you take a large mixing bowl and add the maida and sujji, salt, eno, yogurt and mix the all ingredients and add the water knead everything into a soft dough. You rest the dough atleast 30 minutes.
  • Then you make the ball type peda dough in small pieces.
  • You round shape using a rolling pin to make the bhaturee.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan. When the oil becomes hot, gently place the rolled dough into the oil. Press lightly with a spoon so the bhature puff up. Fry until both sides turn golden brown. Remove them and place on paper towels to absorb extra oil.
  • Your bhaturee is also ready you serve the bhaturee with channe and enjoy it.
